Dashboard v2 Modernisation
Legacy dashboard deprecation and Dashboard v2 rollout
What Was Delivered
- Deprecated the legacy dashboard
- Redirected all users to Dashboard v2
- Restricted Management Dashboard access to approved FTS users only
Access Restrictions
Villar announced the following changes on Feb 7:
"Original Dashboard link should be hidden and will now redirect to dashboard v2. Dashboard V2 should be known as the new dashboard. Management Dashboard Access should only be available to: [redacted], [redacted], [email protected]"
Post-Deploy Issues
The dashboard rollout was not seamless:
- 403 errorsreported across all FTS users (Feb 7, 10:33 AM)
- Dashboard v2 URL routing was incorrect - Team deployed a fix
- Some users (Daniel, Adrian, Jack) could not view their tasks dashboard while Matt B and Villar could
- Multiple rounds of fixes and cache-clearing were required

Mark deployed the URL fix at 1:11 PM and the issue was resolved.
Impact
Reduced data exposure risk and modernised the user dashboard experience.
